tomorrow is employee appretiation day. If anyone wants to come to the store before it opens, let me know so you can get in. It would be late at night at around 7 to 9.
well, i guess this will be my last journal entry as a teen.
calender-wise, it'll be B-day in a few minutes, although technically not 20 years of age until 22:08.
I'm sure i'll come up with some emo crap/rant a little later. Oh by the way James,
if you were still interested in moving up here, they're opening up a Best Buy
here in town; i'm an Agent in Geek Squad. If your interested, you can apply online
and put in a word for you, though whether it will be a good reference or not remains
to be seen.

...and also, i've decided on a new LIVE tag: "Panda Picante". Haven't spent 5 min. on LIVE and someone already called me a stupid Jew, faglicious, and nub.
Well E3 has arrived once again. though I know no one reading this takes any interest whatsoever on the subject matter, it's something that I did last year and figure I should do since my posts are few and far between. I'll basically cover the main points regarding the convention thus far.
* Nintendo's former revolution, now dubbed "Wii", has taken the show by storm. Playable demos have demonstrated that Nintendo's system is not all gimmick. A Next-Gen metroid game, new Super Mario, Zelda Twilight Princess, and Red Steel, Ubisoft's killvest answer to the usual tame lineup that comprises the usual Nintendo Library, were marvelous (or so i've read...on forums...from "sources"). If anyone that came along to the Disneyland Senior trip, remembers the namco samurai game with the motion detecting sword, that will give you some idea how the controller functions (NOTE: excluding the crap control the interface offered, which kinda makes for a bad example, so forget the reference).
*PS3 cost was finally unveiled to the masses, albeit at a price only a mortgage can afford. Following in what has become "what else sony copies from..." forum topics, they have decided to introduce a two bundle structure. For 499.99, you get a system that is barebones with no "real" features. And I'm not taking "it sucks 'cause no headset, and wireless controller, and etc." ala Xbox 360, I mean the system itself will be depraved of actual internal hardware that might not be upgradable through aftermarket accessories. 599.99 is what you can expect to pay if you actually want a (true) PS3. Sony has only spoken aloud about the price difference and the 20 and 60 GB HDD respectively, but upon closer inspection a myriad of features are absent from the "bargain" bundle.
*Sony ditched the boomerang look of last years controller, and decided to stick to the same controller design, which it has for the last decade! Controversy arose after the Sony Press conference when It was announced that motion detection was added to the controller, while ditching the original rumble feature. Again, Sony taking a cue from the competition. Shortages are unavoidable, now that Sony has decided to launch the system globally on Nov. 17.
*Xbox 360 has some games, like Gears of War, Lost Planet, and Pinata, but for the most part this was a Hardware-oriented E3 (or i just don't care about the 360 to report on it).
The big 3 pretty much dropped the hammer on the masses. Coming out with a new systems, creating a drastic paradigm shift in both technology and selection. I'm glad that at least Sony decided to ship all their systems with HDD, which means that advantages that the original xbox had like streaming and caching on the hard drive is something developers can utilize on all games since all consumers will have a HDD handy, unlike the Xbox 360. A lot of people have put there money on Nintendo. Guaranteeing to be the cheaper machine and trying to reach greater market by introducing those usually afraid to pick a controller with 21 buttons with a new and simple way to play, i'm inclined to agree.
well, i decided to just sign up for PAX. anyone express an interest in going?
|You Should Weigh 160|
If you weigh less than this, you either have a fast metabolism or are about to gain weight.

|You Have a Phlegmatic Temperament|
Mild mannered and laid back, you take life at a slow pace.
You are very consistent - both in emotions and actions.
You tend to absorb set backs easily. You are cool and collected.
It is difficult to offend you. You can remain composed and unemotional.
You are a great friend and lover. You don't demand much of others.
While you are quiet, you have a subtle wit that your friends know well.
At your worst, you are lazy and unwilling to work at anything.
You often get stuck in a rut, without aspirations or dreams.
You can get too dependent on others, setting yourself up for abandonment.
Well it’s been a while I actually decided to actually put up something here, besides quizzes. Like Dan, I also have been employed at Target as a stocker as well, so we’ll be working together. Having fun with my PSP; currently playing Guilty Gear XX and Burnout, both excellent games. And speaking of good games, Nintendo now blows to the nth degree. I mean…… god. Although I have to admit that if there’s one game that’s crazy fun besides Melee and Crystal Chronicles, its Zelda Four Swords. Jesus, you give 4 guys a bomb, fire rod, boomerang, bow, and an ass-load of Force Gems within about 100 square ft. of flammable objects, you know there’s gonna be shankin’! w00t

I suppose this is a small portion of just how many buttons [Dan] would like me to add to my MAME. Oh yeah, I'm going to build a MAME, or planning to anyway.
For those of you who don't keep up on these kinds of things, this is the new Nintendo Revolution Controller which has been keep secret for the better part of the up and coming next-gen console wars. Laddies and Fanboys, start your trolling.
...And as a side note, the FFVII Advent Children Soundtrack was released yesterday, and is an excellent addition to any Uematsu collection.
